“CHAMELEON” doesn’t arrive with a single statement – it unfolds. Structured as a cinematic dance EP accompanied by a short film, the project lives in fragments, reflections and repetition, mirroring the emotional terrain it explores.
This is music born in liminal space: between identities, between homes, between versions of the self that never quite settle.

The soundscape on “CHAMELEON” is hypnotic and intentional. Pulsing rhythms and atmospheric textures create a sense of forward motion without urgency, allowing the listener to exist inside the track rather than chase it.
Safa’s vocals are embodied and instinctive, less concerned with polish than presence. There are moments of tension stretch and dissolve, turning repetition into ritual and the dance floor framework into something quietly introspective.
The short film, which is written and directed by GABS expands the project into a fully realized world.
Rather than functioning as a traditional music video, it works more as a cinematic companion piece – one that communicates through movement, light and intimacy. Close-ups linger, choreography feels primal and expressive and the camera remains emotionally close. The result invites the viewer to feel before they understand it.
Themes of identity, diaspora and displacement run throughout the visuals. There is fractured imagery, bodies negotiating space, moments of tension followed by release. Home is presented not as a destination but as an internal state. It is something remembered and redefined.
Together, both the single and film function together as one organism. Watching the short film first reframes the dance version radio edit, infusing the beat with emotional memory.
What emerges is a project that feels lived in and deeply intentional. It is less about transformation as spectacle and more about transformation as necessity. “CHAMELEON” doesn’t ask to be decoded. It asks to be entered, experienced and felt.
